Project Implementation Support Agency (PISA) for Micro Planning and Enhancing Livelihood Opportunities

Care Luit is one of the implementing agencies for the Assam Project on Forest and Biodiversity Conservation (APFBC) multi-year activity supported by Agence Française de Développement (AFD).  

The overall vision of the project is to contribute to nature conservation for a healthier ecosystem, with the Forest Department playing a central role in this effort. To achieve this vision, the project is guided by three specific objectives: (1) to develop participatory approaches for sustainable forest and biodiversity management, especially under changing climatic conditions; (2) to improve the livelihoods of forest-adjacent communities through inclusive support mechanisms, both collective and individual; and (3) to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Forest Department to effectively carry out its mission.
